Scientists baffled by unusual upper atmosphere shrinkage....

  1. Ah I saw this on the NASA Science News site. In their report the scientists added this somewhat worrying note: "The density anomalies may signify that an as-yet-unidentified climatological tipping point involving energy balance and chemistry feedbacks has been reached." (http://science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2010/15jul_thermosphere/) Then again with data only going back half a century it could be caused by any number of naturally ocurring things that just haven't been measured yet. Plus they also go on to say that now the solar minimum is ending the thermosphere is starting to (or soon will) rebound again, huzzah.
Anyway, before I got blinded by science I'd just intended to say I've almost completed my first Nasir portrait; should be finished Monday-ish, I'll send you a scan. Have a nice weekend - and considering recent headlines maybe some sort of sunscreen is in order. xx

  2. MARK, are the cards from the New Tarot Deck going to be easier to read without all the conflicting images that seemed to be in the Greenwood Deck?
I don't always see in the cards what others see but I have been known to read a regular deck of playing card with facts straight on!
